Counter Culture #34
by Beverley Bloxham
Our new range of jewellery is made from up-cycled children's counting blocks. They bear the patina produced by the many little hands that have learned to count with them over the years, along with faded colours, softened edges, scratches and the occasional tooth mark.
Although of modest size and material, these contemporary pieces have their DNA firmly planted with the abstract expressionists and colour field painters like Mark Rothko and Sean Scully.
These pieces are produced as limited editions, so be quick to take home this little piece of wearable art.
This one measures 130 x 30mm.
